From the Pitch to a New Purpose: Younger Kibwezi FC Captain Sadam Nurow Begins His Journey at KMTC
Top Stories
Younger Kibwezi FC has always been a home for hard-working young men with big dreams, and few stories capture that spirit better than that of our captain, Sadam Nurow Dahir. On 28th October 2025, Sadam officially left the team to join KMTC Nyahururu Campus, marking a new and inspiring chapter in his life.
Sadam’s journey has never been easy. He grew up in humble surroundings, where opportunities were scarce and challenges came often. But even in those tough moments, he held on to two things: his love for football and his determination to build a better future through education. Those two forces shaped the young man many have come to respect both on and off the field.
As a student, Sadam proved that discipline can open doors. He scored a B plain in KCSE, a result that spoke to his drive and focus. While balancing school, family responsibilities, and football, he never allowed his ambitions to fade. Instead, he pushed harder—training early, studying late, and leading his teammates with maturity that went beyond his years.
His leadership at Younger Kibwezi FC cannot be measured only in goals or tackles. Sadam was the voice that lifted the squad when spirits dropped, the calm presence in tense moments, and the example every young player looked up to. Whether the team was winning or struggling, he carried the badge with pride.
On 28th October, he reported to KMTC Nyahururu Campus to begin his studies in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, registered under Reg. No: D/CM/26055/703. It was a bittersweet moment for the team. We knew we were losing a captain, but we were also witnessing a dream come true.
For Sadam, stepping into KMTC was more than joining a college—it was a reminder of how far he has come. From dusty pitches in Kibwezi to a respected medical training institution, his story is proof that determination and faith can move a young person from humble beginnings to new horizons.
Younger Kibwezi FC is proud of him, inspired by him, and grateful for the years he gave to the team. His journey is a message to every young footballer in Makueni and beyond: you can chase your passion while shaping your future.
We wish Sadam success in his studies and life ahead. Once a captain, always family.
