Younger Kibwezi FC has written a new and unforgettable chapter in the club’s history. After months of hard work, discipline, and incredible teamwork, the boys have officially emerged FKF Makueni County League Champions for the 2024/2025 season. This achievement marks one of the biggest milestones since the club was founded, and it reflects the commitment and ambition the team carries.
The season was long and competitive, but Younger Kibwezi FC stood tall from the first whistle to the last. The team completed 26 matches, managing 3 draws, 3 losses, and collecting a total of 63 points to finish at position 1 on the league table. It wasn’t easy at the top, with only 2 points separating the team from tough rivals Kibwezi United, but Younger Kibwezi FC held their nerve and proved they had what it takes to go all the way.

Promotion to the FKF Regional League – Now Renamed FKF Conference League (Zone A)
With the recent merger of Division 2 and Regional Leagues, FKF has introduced the FKF Conference League, which will run through two zones—A and B—covering the former Eastern Province counties.
Zone A Breakdown (Younger Kibwezi FC’s New Home)
Younger Kibwezi FC will compete in Zone A, which consists of teams from:
Machakos
Makueni
Kitui
This cluster represents the Lower Eastern region and places our club in a highly competitive but exciting environment.
League Structure and Key Details
Each zone will have 20 teams, featuring:
Division 2 teams
Regional league teams
Newly promoted teams like Younger Kibwezi FC
Registration fee: KSh 24,500, payable to the FKF Division 2 Northern Zone B account
Kickoff dates: 13th/14th December 2025
Fixtures will be issued by the League Secretary General
Each team must have at least one CAF D licensed coach
Officiating fee remains KSh 5,000 per team
Promotion Path
The stakes are high.
The champion of each zone earns direct promotion to Division One.
If an extra slot becomes available, the runners-up from the two zones will face off for the final promotion slot.
